2017 Scholarships
NEW PROVIDENCE HIGH SCHOOL
Hannah Lauren Caminiti
Hannah will be attending Penn State College of Nursing in the fall. She participates in character ed at school, volunteered at the Children’s Hospital in Mountainside, is active with TryCan and is a Captain for the Relay for Life. She was inspired by the loss of her aunt, grandmother and Brooke. In fact, she helped organize an Easter Bunny visit for Brooke four years ago.
Andrew Peritore
Andrew will be attending Purdue in the fall. Motivated by the passing of an aunt, grandmother and grandfather he has moved from a participant in the Relay for Life to the Chair of Youth Committee. In that role, he presents at local schools and helps fundraise for Relay for Life. His role has led the way for the Youth group to raise $100k for two years in a row.
MADISON HIGH SCHOOL
Erin Collett
Erin Collett will be attending Rutgers School of Nursing in the fall. She is inspired to volunteer by her strong ties to the Madison Community and her desire to give back to them. Her volunteering has included Interact which benefited Doctors Without Borders and Key Club.
Dan Sirna
Dan Sirna is enrolled at Tulane for fall of 2017. He has been volunteering at a wide range of opportunities including mentoring inner cities kids, building homes for families in need and coaching wrestling. He is inspired by the diversity of appreciation he experiences, whether it is the first double leg takedown by a 6 year old or the recipient of four new walls.
